Being global means being everywhere

Updated: Jan 27, 2023

Back in 2003, Stora Enso delivered a message to the world: "What paper can do". I was regional manager in South America and decided to make this tagline real. I got involved in helping children who lived in the north of Argentina, amidst mountains and very harsh conditions. Since Stora Enso was a paper company, we donated books for these pupils, travelled all the way from Buenos Aires to Cochinoca, a town located in deep Argentinian puna, more than 5.000 metres above sea level. The smile on the faces was unforgettable. It meant delivering not only books, but hope. What paper can truly do.

Here are some of the print campaign from that story. It was featured in Cannes 2004, under the "Ads to make us change" gallery.
